Mycelia is a small to medium sized, family-owned and -run business, which produces specialised filamentous fungi for the industry. The most important applications are the production of solid state fermentation products, training, development of packaging for the solid state industry and research and developmment. Our traditional sector was the specialized mushroom industry, but we are expanding into the biobased industry since 2010, as a result of which we have built an interesting series of test setups for the solid state fermentation industry. We have a young, dynamic and hands-on research team, which is very capable and delivers excellent work. We are open to a large number of cooperations into the biotechnology industry, on the condition that they are aimed at improving the environmental impact of humans on their environment.
