To provide participants with an overview on possible scaling (biorefining, fermentation and down-stream options), as required for testing, developing and validation processing before going to industrial scale.

Hop on the shuttle bus to the Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant and discover what scale-up is and looks like! This visit is part of the “Scale -up & Growth” programme offered by the “Pilots4U powered by COPILOT” project and will comprise of a presentation and guided tour of the facilities. It will be co-organised by ShapingBio.
