Senbis Polymer Innovations is an independent research service provider, with a focus on the development of yarns (textile or technical), filaments for 3D-printing, and monofilaments. But also other polymer shaping technologies are available. In addition extensive lab facilities are offered. The company has a lot of experience with respect to the use of biopolymers. Yarn melt spinning on small scale (1-2 kg/h; up to 400 °C), medium scale (up to 50 kg/h; up to 450 °C; also bicomponent) and industrial scale (up to 70 kg/h). Monofilament extrusion for 3D-printing on small scale (1 kg/h; up to 400 °C) and medium scale (up to 50 kg/h; up to 450 °C). Monofilament spin-draw-winding on medium scale (up to 50 kg/h; up to 450 °C; final diameters up to 4 mm). Compounding on small scale (2-5 kg/h; up to 400 °C) and on medium scale (up to 50 kg/h; up to 420 °C). Compounding can be combined with filament extrusion. Film casting and film blowing on small scale (about 1 kg/h). Injection molding. All chemical, mechanical and physical polymer evaluations are available.
Polycondensation reactor of 500 gram. Discontinuous. Appropriate for all types of biopolyesters.
