Aim of the Stakeholder Roundtable
Pilots4U has set up one very visible, easily accessible database of open access pilot and multipurpose demonstration infrastructures for the European bio-economy. Companies and research institutes can search this database free of charge to find the best fitting test facility that can scale up their process to pilot and demo scale. The Pilots4U database already contains 390 asset entries from 83 organisations in 19 countries and is growing week by week. The database can be found at www.biopilots4u.eu.
Pilots4U, a BBI-JU funded CSA project, ends in May 2019. To maintain and further develop the Pilots4U network, a governance structure will be set up.
This Stakeholder Roundtable will discuss with all involved infrastructures regarding the setup of a governance structure for the Pilots4U network. These discussions should eventually lead to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by all infrastructures involved. During the roundtable, an initial plan for governance will be proposed, based on previous discussions with infrastructure stakeholders. The roundtable is meant to fine-tune how the Pilots4U network will function after May 2019 regarding tasks, funding and governance.
Target Audience
All open access infrastructures that are involved in the project either as project partner or as participating infrastructure will be invited to join the negotiations. Other participants that can bring a positive input into the discussion are also welcome.
