Pilots4U aims to speed up innovation in the bioeconomy sector. To achieve this, we need infrastructure that enables bringing a bio-based innovation process towards commercialisation. We are compiling a database on bioeconomy pilot-scale equipment hosted at open access facilities across the EU. The database will support piloting service users in finding bioeconomy piloting options across Europe. Furthermore, asset information will be used to identify any gaps in the provision of different technology sectors and regions, where additional investment could help, either in equipment or allied innovation support services.
